Football Star Aaron Ramsey Boosts Bounty for Lost Dog in Mexican Territory to $Twenty Thousand Dollars
Welsh athlete Aaron Ramsey has increased the bounty for details concerning the vanished pet Halo to £15,000.
Ex- Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff City midfielder, who currently plays for Pumas UNAM in Mexico City, stated that the beagle was observed in San Miguel de Allende, located in the Guanajuato zone.
Halo, who went missing on 9 October, was had on a dog tracker collar, and the footballer published a map pinpoint of the spot she vanished from.
"Any sort of news concerning our pet Halo kindly contact us. Substantial reward for locating her. We are all hoping she is unharmed and can be back to our family shortly," Ramsey shared on social media.
Earlier Reward and Emotional Pleas
Ramsey initially announced that his dog had disappeared two weeks ago and has since posted multiple pictures of the adored canine on Instagram.
A seven thousand five hundred pound incentive was initially provided, but with no news on the dog's location after a seven days, the player and his family increased the amount.
"All we desire is Halo home," he said in an additional plea on social media after the 10-year-old dog disappeared.
The latest image upload is a black and white photo of Halo napping, its head lying in the bend of the athlete's arm, with the caption: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you again Halo."
Family's Anxieties and Background
Ramsey has also shared a message from his wife Mrs. Ramsey on social media saying they have some "serious queries" regarding the incident and worry the family "may never get clarity".
"We still have not located our dog. I fear we ever will," the spouse's update expressed.
The Welsh skipper signed with Mexico's top-flight team Club Universidad Nacional earlier this year and made his inaugural match in the Mexican league in the eighth month.
